Tennessee Departures and Additions
The transfer portal has become one of the big off-season stories of the college football calendar. No team is “safe” from having several if not dozens of players enter the portal and find new homes the following year. Increased roster turnover has become a mainstay, and it’s becoming more and more difficult for coaches to manage rosters and even for fans to keep up with who will be suiting up for their favorite team next year.
There are two windows that players can enter the portal; the first one runs from December 4th to January 2nd, and the second one from April 15–30. Once a player has entered the portal, they can sign with another team at any point. Additionally, graduate transfers and players whose coach has been fired can transfer at any point outside of the portal windows.
We’re keeping track of seniors who have run out of eligibility, players entering the portal, who has officially found another destination, and who the Vols will be adding for the 2024 cycle.
